For those unaware, Google One is a paid subscription plan that allows users to expand their Google storage beyond the default 15GB to use across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos. The new 5TB storage plan at $24.99 per month is a middle-tier option that bridges the gap between its existing 2TB and 10TB storage plans offered at $9.99/month and $49.99/month respectively. It also offers a payment plan of $249.99 per year, which is a savings of 17% over the monthly payment plans. The new plan offers the same benefits of the 2TB tier including quick access to Google experts, add family members for sharing, enjoy extra member benefits, and access to a VPN for Android smartphones. It also provides 10% cashback on Google Store purchases. The 5TB tier plan is certainly a relief for those who are looking for something more than a 2TB storage plan but less than a 10TB plan.
